Taking place Thursday, January 22 through Saturday, January 24, 2025,
New Seawolf Welcome is designed to help new students, including first year, transfer, and international students, settle into life at SBU, through required workshops, social events, and advisor led sessions.
Each student receives a personalized schedule of required orientation sessions via SB Engaged and is encouraged to participate in optional SBU WOW activities for community engagement and exploration.

The Commuter Expo is the official commuter student welcome! With robust program offerings throughout the evening, this is a great opportunity to get a head start immersing yourself into campus life! Take campus bus and walking tours, attend our Roommate Mixer to find potential off-campus roommates, hear from current commuter student panelists, attend a Landlords, Leases & You workshop, connect with a variety of campus resources, and much more!
