The Center for Korean Studies at Stony Brook University stands as a central educational and scholarly hub for Korean Studies in the United States, dedicated to advancing education, research, and cultural understanding. The Center is committed to supporting and training a growing number of undergraduate and graduate students to become future professionals in a variety of fields, enhancing and expanding the academic offerings within the Korean Studies Program through the Department of Asian and Asian American Studies, and innovating in publishing with a focus on digital platforms. In addition, the Center is committed to enriching the university and broader community with a variety of cultural events and programs, thereby deepening awareness and appreciation of Korean culture.
