Stony Brook University is proud of its diverse culture and offers many activities, shows, lectures and art exhibits right here on campus. If you’re planning a conference, our team can work with you to plan group excursions or activities that will thrill your guests.
 

On-Campus Dining

If hunger hits while you’re with us, you won’t be far from satisfaction. You can grab an old favorite from familiar vendors like Bagel Express, Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts, or try a unique experience at Jasmine Tea House or the Simons Center Cafe. Whether it’s a quick donut or a gourmet meal you have in mind, you can find it here on campus.
 

Division I Athletics

Depending on the timing of your visit, you can see the Stony Brook Seawolves in action with football, basketball, baseball and more. For information on upcoming games and tickets, check out Stony Brook Athletics.
 

Staller Center for the Arts

The Staller Center for the Arts offers a wide variety of world class performances from September through May, as well as the Stony Brook Film Festival each July. Each year brings dozens of professional performances in music, theater and art.
 

Paul W. Zuccaire Art Gallery

Located in the Staller Center for the Arts. the Paul W. Zuccaire Art Gallery presents visual arts exhibitions by well-known artists, as well as faculty and students, in a 5,000-square-foot space.
 

Simons Art Gallery

The Art Program of the Simons Center for Geometry and Physics connects artists and scientists while providing a venue for artistic science-inspired productions and events of interest. Its calendar is packed with exhibits by photographers, sculptors and other artists whose work reflects the dynamic world of scientific discovery.

Cultural Programming at the Charles B. Wang Center

While serving as host to many of our conferences and other large events, the Charles B. Wang Center also offers cultural programming for guests to enjoy in their spare time. Each gallery space features a rotating schedule of exhibits, enhanced by corresponding lectures and performances in dance, music and theatre.
 

Shop Red West & Shop Red East

Locations for Stony Brook apparel and gifts, as well as electronics, food items and more visit Shop Red West located in lower level of the Melville Library, or Shop Red East located in the Health Science Center, Level 2, Room 310.
