Global Summer Institute
Stony Brook University offers students from all over the globe a chance to participate
in our Global Summer Institute during two sessions. Students have the option to participate
in one or both sessions for a minimum of six credits each. International students
typically study at Stony Brook on an F-1 visa during the summer.
In addition to a variety of courses, all students may engage in the numerous opportunities and activities, such as our cultural excursions on Long Island and to New York City.
