Erich Goode retired from Stony Brook in 2000. He works in the areas of deviance (Deviant Behavior, 9th edition, 2011), drug use (Drugs in American Society, 8th edition, 2012), and moral paincs (Moral Panics with Nachman Ben-Yehuda, 2009), and is currently writing on the sociology-1 of memoir.
