ARTS AND SCIENCES SENATE STANDING COMMITTEE

Charge:  Membership Committee is responsible for identifying appropriate candidates for
committee vacancies and upcoming vacancies (both end-of-term and mid-term), including Arts & Sciences Senate standing committees, officers of the Arts & Sciences Senate Executive
Committee, and Arts & Sciences constituency representatives on University Senate standing
committees. The membership committee will maintain an up-to-date list of all Arts & Sciences
Senate standing committee members, senators, and senators-at-large. The Membership
Committee will work with the secretary of the senate or another responsible party to ensure that the list of senate members on the Arts & Sciences Senate website is accurate and complete.  The membership committee will coordinate the preparation of the ballot for Arts & Sciences Senate elections, including the election of officers.
