Linda Armyn
Linda Armyn has been President & Chief Executive Officer of FourLeaf Federal Credit Union (formerly Bethpage Federal Credit Union) since August 2023. She serves as the 5th President and CEO and is the first female to hold this position. A dynamic leader well known throughout Long Island and the credit union industry, Armyn has played an integral role in FourLeaf’s strategic growth and enhanced corporate brand.
Armyn spearheaded the strategic rebranding of Bethpage Federal Credit Union to become FourLeaf in 2025. The initiative came at a time when the credit union, the largest in the Northeast region and 16th largest in the nation, continues to expand its presence to even more communities in New York and the Tri-State area. The name FourLeaf represents the credit union’s commitment to community, prosperity, innovation and purpose, while the new logo – two intertwined infinity symbols – signals infinite possibilities for its members and the communities it serves.
Armyn joined Bethpage in 2001, leading Corporate Strategy, Business and Community Development, Charitable Giving, Marketing, Corporate Communications, Crisis Planning, Public and Government Relations. Over the years, her efforts helped the credit union grow from $1.1 billion to over $13 billion in assets. Linda played an integral role in two mergers that led to the credit union’s open charter in 2016. Today FourLeaf Federal Credit Union has 37 branches, 800 employees, and more than 440,000 members with a member satisfaction rating of more than 85%.
FourLeaf is focused on enriching the lives of its teammates, members, and the communities it serves. With a focus on collaboration and innovation, Linda developed FourLeaf’s comprehensive Community Engagement efforts, known as FourLeaf Cares. This successful philanthropic effort invests more than $2 million annually to communities of modest means and 6,000 employee volunteer hours annually.
Of the significant branding initiatives led by Linda, the most visible is the annual FourLeaf Air Show at Jones Beach. By partnering with the NYS Office of Parks, Recreation & Historical Preservation, Linda branded FourLeaf as the Title sponsor of Long Island's largest public event. The Air Show attracts nearly 400,000 attendees annually each Memorial Day weekend since 2004. The annual FourLeaf Turkey Drive, which supports Island Harvest and its network of food pantries has provided tens of thousands of Thanksgiving meals to food-insecure Long Islanders over the last 16 years.
Most recently, Armyn led the strategic launch of the Money Like A Woman, a bold movement designed to celebrate and bring awareness to the unique and collaborative mindset women possess that enables all individuals, families, and communities to thrive. Driven by its core values of inclusivity, respect, collaboration, ethics and innovation, Money Like A Woman’s early focus has been supporting women in business and entrepreneurs. Through extensive ethnographic research they are developing a state-of-the-art application that is inspired by women but a friend to everyone who uses it. A few innovative tools and programs are launching throughout 2025, to help anyone and everyone Money Like A Woman.
Linda was appointed by Governor Hochul, to Co-Chair the Long Island Regional Economic Development Council, as a member of the NYS Parks Commission on Long Island, and Vice Chair of Stony Brook University Presidents Council. She also serves on several Long Island Not for Profits and national trade association committees. Through this work she has been honored by numerous organizations.
