Our mission in Academic Affairs at Stony Brook University is to create an innovative, collaborative, rigorous, and inclusive environment that supports SBU's students, faculty, and staff as they pursue academic excellence with integrity and impact.

This mission is shared across the colleges, schools, research centers, and academic support units led by the deans, directors, and senior leaders who report to the Office of the Provost. Success in this mission is made possible through partnerships across all divisions of the university.
