Doctoral Program Handbook

The purpose of the Doctoral Program in Philosophy is to prepare students for original and independent research and scholarship in the field, and to help them develop the necessary pedagogical skills for teaching philosophy. This handbook offers an overview of the policies and requirements of the Doctoral Program and applies to all students currently enrolled in the program. (revised November 2024)
