Italian Language Program for Children

Since January 2025, the Center has partnered with Per Tutti Italian Language & Cultural Center to offer an Italian language program for children. All classes will be held at Per Tutti's new, age-appropriate facilities, which are complete with indoor and outdoor play areas.

Registration is now open for bilingual summer camp, ages 3-6! Each day includes an Italian lesson within a play-based learning environment incorporating music & movement, arts & crafts, STEAM activities, story time, and open play in our spacious indoor and outdoor play areas.

Ages: 3-6 years

Days: Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays

Time: 9:30 am - 12:00 pm

Dates: from July 7, 2025 to August 29, 2025

Tuition: $170 per week for the first child. $155 per week for each additional child/sibling. *This reduced rate is made possible by a generous donation to the Center for Italian Studies

Format: In-person instruction

Location: Per Tutti: Italian Language and Cultural Center, 543 Lake Avenue, Saint James, New York 11780 (across from St. James Elementary School).

Register Your 3 – 6 Year Old  

All classes will be taught by Per Tutti founder and Director Catrina Percontino, who had previously been teaching children's classes with the Center. Percontino is an alumna of the Stony Brook University Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program and a NYSED certified teacher in Adolescent Education (Italian and Spanish) with Elementary Extension.  She also holds an AP Teacher Certification.
