iCafe & iGrad
International Student Success Workshops

iCafe and iGrad are academic and student services workshops in which faculty, international student leaders, and experts in the field inform, educate, engage, and inspire international students to enhance their academic and personal success.

These series support international students' transition to SBU by helping them develop four key skill sets that are beneficial to their success. The four skill sets are:

  1. Understand the importance of Adjustment Skills
  2. Develop Academic Skills and understanding of the U.S. education system.
  3. Develop Interpersonal Strengths and mental health awareness.
  4. Explore Career Skills that will prepare the students to be more competitive in their future careers.

iCafe and iGrad offer sessions to support international students at all levels of study.
