Hispanic Heritage Month Opens with Celebration and Reflection - read more
While Hispanic Heritage Month is observed nationally from September 15 – October 15, Stony Brook University dedicates the full month of October to this celebration. However, additional events take place throughout the year. This past year, we proudly celebrated the 35th Anniversary of Hispanic Heritage Month at SBU, and we are excited to continue this legacy together. There are two ways you or your organization can participate:

Post your event on SB Engagedand select the Hispanic Heritage Month category to have it automatically appear on the HHM website calendar.

The Hispanic Heritage Month initiatives, events, and scholarships are made possible
by generous contributions from University members and campus partners. We welcome
and encourage your support to keep Hispanic Heritage Month an important presence at
Stony Brook.
