The Student Support Team is committed to supporting the emotional, physical, and intellectual wellness of all Stony Brook University students. If a student is unsure about where to get help or is facing a challenge that is impacting their academics, the Student Support Team will provide supportive consultation and refer students to other on-campus resources, as needed. |

The Student Health Service is the on-campus source for meeting students' primary health care needs. The staff of physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, health educators, laboratory technologists, and technical and administrative staff are dedicated to providing students with quality, cost-effective medical care, and the services necessary to optimize preventative health and wellness. |

Counseling and Psychological Services offers free and confidential services to enrolled students. Services include crisis intervention, brief counseling for individuals, couples, and groups; consultation to students, faculty, staff, friends, and parents; medication management; and assistance with referrals to community resources. |

The Center for Prevention and Outreach offers a wide range of programs and services aimed at educating students on health and wellness topics, empowering them to make healthy decisions. CPO focuses on prevention and early intervention, with topics including mental health and suicide prevention, alcohol and other drugs, healthy relationships, sexual violence prevention, and physical health. |
