Anyone with a Stony Brook University ID card can use our pantry, including active
students (undergraduate and graduate), staff, and faculty.
As a university food pantry, we do not serve alumni or members of the general public
outside of our campus.
Our hours change depending on the semester or session we are currently in. For up-to-date hours, please visit our Hours & Location page.
In standard full-length semesters, the Pantry will be open 4 hours a day, Monday through
Friday. Winter and summer sessions may see reduced hours due to holidays, staffing,
or other circumstances.
If you would like to visit the Seawolves Pantry but are unable to do so during the
times we are open, please contact us at SBUFoodPantry@stonybrook.eduto set up an appointment with a staff member outside operating hours.We are happy to accommodate requests outside of the indicated hours, as necessary.
Additionally, we have two self-serve satellite locations on campus that can be utilized at any time. Whether it's late at night and the pantry is closed or you need to grab and go between
classes, these locations exist for your ease and convenience.
