Dr Vera Tobin, Assistant Professor of Cognitive Science at Case Western Reserve University, delivers a lecture exploring the ways cognitive biases, particularly a bias known as the “curse of knowledge,” are a motivating factor in many of the most impressive feats of structure and aesthetics in narrative.
