High School Student Working with Dr. Abdelaziz is Nominated as 2017 Regeneron Scholar
Throughout the previous summer, Michael Zakoworotny worked with Dr. Abdelaziz in lab conducting research. Zakowortny comes from Half Hollow Hills High School West. He titled his research on “The Effect of Temperature on the Particle Orientation of Kaolinite Clays.” Recently, he has been selected as 2017 Regeneron Scholar. The Regeneron Science Talent Search (Regeneron STS) is a distinguished science research competition specifically for high school seniors. We would like to congratulate Zakowortny for his effort and wish him the best in future endeavors!
