Turner Summer Research Grants
Current Turner Fellows can compete for summer funding to be used to conduct exploratory
or continuing research towards their thesis/dissertation. There is a competitive application
process that takes place in the spring of each year, should funding be available.
The granting of funds is based on both academic rigor and the involved research being
tied to a specific, detailed project that is anticipated to serve as part of a fellow's
dissertation/thesis/final research project. Acceptance of summer support may include
a fellow's participation as a presenter in one of our future Center for Inclusive
Education Research Cafés. In addition, recipients are required to submit a CIE Post-Award
Report during the fall semester following their research endeavor.
