Laptop Loan

The CIE has both Macs and PCs available for scholars to borrow.

If you are interested in borrowing a laptop, you can check them out using our Lending Library.  Just search for ‘laptop,’ and check out the laptop as you would any other item.  You will need to first become a ‘patron’ of the library if it is your first time checking out an item.  All instructions for becoming a patron and checking out a laptop are below, as well as on the homepage of the library.  We recommend keeping this tab open while navigating the library for the first time.  

To become a patron (this is free!) go to the laptop you are interested in and click on Ask about this. Please be sure to provide your full name and email, and enter your affiliation to the CIE in the comment section.

After we have recieved your request, we will set you up with a patron account, and send you an email with the information you need to place a hold on the laptop.

Then, you can stop by the CIE to pick up your laptop!
