The Center for Changing Systems of Power at Stony Brook (CCSP) is pleased to offer 2 undergraduate and 2 graduate summer grants in support of:
- Research
- Artivism
- Social Justice Activity
In one of the following focus areas:
- Carceral Studies
- Environmental Justice
- Health Disparities
Complete Applications must include:
- A 250 word personal statement providing a concise overview of your background, academic interests, and commitment to social justice
- A 250 word project proposal describing how your project relates to one of the 3 focus areas, what you plan to do over the summer, and how it will advance your academic and social justice work.
- A letter of recommendation
Minimum GPA: 3.0
Grant recipients will be required to participate in a Fall 2025 presentation to share their research, artivism, or social justice activity and reflect on the impact of their project.
