Paul A. DeCotis
Paul A. DeCotis is a recognized industry thought leader, consultant, and former government official and utility executive. At West Monroe, Mr. DeCotis leads some of the most innovative and comprehensive grid modernization projects in the country, helping some of the largest utilities in North American digitize operations and use advanced analytics to drive enterprise and customer value. Mr. DeCotis supports private equity firms in conducting commercial diligences when considering acquisitions, offering innovative energy technologies and professional services.
Mr. DeCotis joined West Monroe from Long Island Power Authority, where he was vice president of power markets and managing director for utility service provider contract oversight. He oversaw human resources during the Power Authority's reorganization and restructuring. Mr. DeCotis negotiated over $10 billion in power purchase agreements, and over $400 million in union labor contracts. Mr. DeCotis has a bachelor's degree in international business management, a master's degree in economics, and an MBA in finance.
