Dr. Donald DiMarzio
Dr. Donald DiMarzio is a senior scientist within Northrop Grumman’s advanced research, development, design, and demonstration group NG Next, where he studies nanomaterials and radio-frequency metamaterials. Dr. DiMarzio is also an adjunct professor at Stony Brook University, where he teaches a nanotechnology class.
Dr. DiMarzio also serves as the Technologist in Residence at Brookhaven National Laboratory's Center for Functional Nanomaterials (CFN) - a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Science User Facility. In this facility, Dr. Dimarzio uses the advanced characterization labs to primarily investigate nanostructures whose self-assembly is directed through DNA scaffolds.
Dr. DiMarzio holds a PhD in Solid State Physics from Rutgers University and Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Stony Brook University.
