Janice Padula

Janice Padula is a Chemistry and Environmental Science Professor at Clinton Community College in Plattsburgh New York. She has been with the college for over 30 years. She has an Associates in Applied Science from SUNY Cobleskill in Science Lab Technology -Chemistry, and b]oth a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Chemistry/Chemistry Education from SUNY Plattsburgh. Over her tenure, Janice has worked on many projects and grants at Clinton Community College, including a successful NYSERDA PON Award in 2009. In 2007, she was the principle developer of the Wind Energy and Turbine Technology program which started training wind technician at Clinton Community College in 2009. Janice is a member of the American Wind Energy Association and is a member of the AWEA Wind Workforce Standards Committee. Janice is currently working in collaboration with RMG to bring Global Wind Organization Basic Safety Training to Clinton Community College's new advanced manufacturing facility as soon as possible. It is her educational goal to help ensure that both onshore and offshore technicians are ready to work safely and to prepare the workforce for New York State's offshore projects.
