Dan Dessanti

Dan Dessanti joined the Northeast Gas Association staff as Director, Operations Services in 2010. He is responsible for coordinating operational and regulatory issues, which include distribution and transmission integrity, emergency management response, pipeline safety and security, as well as public awareness, marketing and sales, and workforce management. Dan has successfully initiated innovative programs such as the Northeast Regional Gas Safety Public Awareness Media Campaign, NGA's First Responder Online Training program and the NGA+ Associate Membership program that provides industry service providers more access to association programs. He has also taken a lead role in communicating to state and federal regulators on behalf of NGA members.

Prior to NGA, Dan logged over 30 years of gas distribution related experience at National Grid and KeySpan, in various positions including Vice President, Marketing, Director, Product Development and as the New York City Sales Director. Dan holds a B.E degree from Cooper Union and an MBA degree in Finance from the NYU Stern School.
