Thomas Brostrøm

Thomas Brostrøm serves as the President for Ørsted North America (formerly DONG Energy), headquartered in Boston, MA. In this role, Thomas oversees all North American operations for Ørsted – the global leader in offshore wind. Thomas serves on the Board of Directors for the American Wind Energy Association – the national trade organization for the U.S. wind industry. Thomas initially joined Ørsted in Denmark in 2009, where he served in Business Development, Mergers & Acquisitions, and later as Head of the Renewables Strategy team. Prior to joining Ørsted, Thomas was in the investment banking and venture capital business. Thomas studied Business Analysis & Valuation and Mergers & Acquisitions at Harvard University and received his master's degree in Finance and International Business from Aarhus University in Denmark.
