Kayte O’Neill is Vice President, Regulatory Strategy for National Grid USA. Accountable for developing National Grid USA’s response to the changing energy landscape, Kayte leads a team whose focus is on the future of the distribution utility – orienting the company towards business models, policy and regulatory frameworks to deliver customer value and enable strategic growth and shaping external policy priorities into successful regulatory strategies.

Kayte leads for National Grid on proceedings related to regulatory frameworks for the changing energy system, including New York Reforming the Energy Vision, Massachusetts Grid Modernization and Rhode Island Power Sector Transformation.

Before moving into her current role in April 2016 Kayte held positions in National Grid’s Corporate Strategy team based out of London and as Executive Advisor to the UK CEO. She has also held positions in UK Regulation, Customer Strategy and Customer Services.
