New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA)

John Love is a Senior Project Manager for the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA). He received his bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Manhattan College and his master's degree in Business Administration from Union College.

Before joining NYSERDA, Mr. Love held various engineering and project management positions with General Electric Power Systems and Plug Power, Inc.

Mr. Love currently manages projects in NYSERDA's Smart Grid Research program area that improve the resiliency, reliability, efficiency, and overall performance of the electric power delivery system in New York State. Additionally, he manages the Competitive Greenhouse Gas Reduction Program targeted at reducing greenhouse gas emissions from the power sector in New York State.
