Mr. Chapman is the Vice President of Information Technology and Chief Information Officer at the New York Independent System Operator. Joining the NYISO in 2015, Mr. Chapman is responsible for NYISO’s applications and technology services that support NYISO's ability manage the reliable operation of the bulk electric system, as well as operate the competitive wholesale energy markets across New York State. Prior to joining the NYISO, Mr. Chapman held executive positions in Information Technology at MISO as well as National Grid, where Mr. Chapman led a wide range of IT organizations and initiatives domestically and internationally to improve business capability and performance. Mr. Chapman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Buffalo, as well as a Master's of Science in Computing Engineering from Syracuse University.
