 Historical NoteGeorge Joseph Hochbrueckner (born September 20, 1938) is a former Democratic member
                                 of the United States House of Representatives from New York. He was a member of the New York State Assembly from 1975 to 1984. He was elected and served as Member of the New York State Assembly from the 2nd district between January 1, 1975 and December 31, 1982 and Member of
                                       the New York State Assembly from the 4th district between January 1, 1983 and December 31, 1984. Hochbrueckner served
                                          in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1987 to 1994, representing New York's 1st
                                          congressional district.
