IAB Overview

Charter

The Intercollegiate Athletics Board (IAB) is charged by the President of the University to act in an advisory capacity to the Director of Athletics (AD) and the President of the University. The IAB and its subcommittees provide feedback and advice to the Department of Athletics on matters concerning compliance functions, academic issues, gender equity, and budget development.

The IAB reports to the President, on an annual basis, on the functioning of the intercollegiate athletics program. The IAB serves as a liason between the various members of the campus community and the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics.
