Steven Wang received a BA in English from Rutgers University and an MA in English and American Literature from New York University. His work centers on the politics of translation, authenticity, and literary production within postcolonial frameworks. He examines how diasporic and marginalized communities both engage with and challenge epistemological hierarchies through narrative resistance, and plans on developing a transcultural framework for engaging with literature from underrepresented populations.
