I am a third year Biology major with a minor in Hellenic Studies deeply committed to both academic excellence and meaningful engagement in medicine, research, and community service. As a pre-med student, I have engaged in NIH-funded stroke research, been a co-author in two national abstracts, and currently working on a publication.  My clinical experience includes shadowing physicians across multiple specialties, including orthopedic trauma and endocrinology, as well as volunteering and observing medical professionals in hospitals in NY and abroad. Additionally, I volunteer as an EMT in my local EMS department at Wyandanch.

Beyond academics and medicine, I am passionate about environmental sustainability. I am the founder and president of Stony Brook’s beekeeping club, and I am very dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of beekeeping and the significance of pollinators and sustainable practices. I coordinate free introductory beekeeping classes with instruction from a Cornell-certified master beekeeper and collaborate with the Long Island Beekeepers Club to promote best practices in hive maintenance and bee-friendly planting.

My dedication to scholarship has been recognized through multiple academic and merit-based awards, including the AHEPA National Scholarship, the Port Jefferson AHEPA Chapter 319 Scholarship, and the Hellenic Medical Society of New York Scholarship. I am also a recipient of Stony Brook University’s Presidential Scholarship and I have consistently earned placement on the Dean’s List. Finally, my passion for the arts led to a NYSSMA Level 5 performance recognition in music earlier in my school career.
