OUR MBA VALUE
36 and 48 credit programs available with Innovation or Operations Analytics concentrations.
Students can complete their MBA Hybrid or fully online. F-1 visa is only available for our hybrid programs.

Our STEM MS programs are 30 credits, allowing students to fully commit to their education for one year, an investment for their yield over their career!

Students are able to apply for up to 3 years of OPT when graduating from a STEM-designated program.

- *International Students are required to be enrolled in a minimum of 9 credits in order to maintain their student visa status. 6 of those 9 credits must be in person or hybrid modality.
- **International students are required to be enrolled in health insurance. Students will be automatically enrolled in the SUNY contracted international health insurance policy which is a comprehensive health and dental plan. Fall and Spring/Summer are billed separately. Rates are outlined on the International Student Health Insurance Plan page.
- SUNY tuition for over 12 credits is generally a flat-rate "full-time" charge. Students taking 12 or more credits in a semester will only be charged the 12+ credit tuition and fees rate listed above.

Paying your SBU Bill
Understanding Billing and Payments
Student billing is generated in SOLAR. International Students can pay their SBU bill using Flywire.
Student's can use Time Option Payment Plan (TOPP) for their Tuition and Fee's to make payments in increments. Use the "What Do I Owe"
tab in SOLAR to activate TOPP for credit and debit card payments. Students looking
to pay via international wire (FlyWire) will need to confirm with paymentplans@stonybrook.edu that you would like to enroll in a 3 or 4 payment sequence. Payment plan arrangements
need to be renewed each semester and prior to your payment deadline posted in SOLAR.
Graduate Housing is billed separately based on the terms of their individual contract. That payment
is not TOPP eligible.
Scholarships
Funding your Program
The College of Business does not review applicants for scholarship upon admission, however certain types of funding may be available to international students once they've begun their studies at Stony Brook University. This includes different scholarships and assistantships.
Because our tuition is 15% less than our peer public institutions and 50% less than our peer private institutions, our students can take advantage of that tremendous value without having to compete for awards.
