The Undergraduate Biology Advisors assist Biology majors/minors and Biochemistry majors with semester scheduling, transfer evaluations, research opportunities, and degree clearance.
Degree Planning and Advising
To ensure you are on track for graduation, you must consult both your Major Advisor and your General Academic Advisor.
1. Major and Minor Requirements

Biology Advisor: Contact for specific requirements regarding Biology or Biochemistry majors and minors.
2. University and General Education (SBC) Requirements
Consult your assigned Academic Advisor based on your student status:

Special Populations: If you are in WISE, University Scholars, EOP, or a similar program, meet with your assigned program advisor.

General Population: All other students should meet with an advisor in Academic and Transfer Advising Services.
Appointment Planning

When to Book: Schedule appointments 1–2 months before registration opens.

Senior Year: Early planning is critical for students entering their final two semesters.

How to Book: Appointments are released every Wednesday via Navigate. If no slots are available, check back frequently for new openings or cancellations.
