Ilissa Ocko is a Climate Scientist at the Environmental Defense Fund, where she pursues research and provides guidance for climate change communication, policy, and legal endeavors. Ilissa's research focuses on the short- and long-term climate impacts of greenhouse gases and aerosols, and the warming benefits of mitigation measures. Ilissa earned a Ph.D. in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences from Princeton University, and a B.S.E. in Earth System Science and Engineering from the University of Michigan. She holds a certificate in Science, Technology, and Environmental Policy from Princeton's Woodrow Wilson School.
