Electric Load Forecasting

This study, presently ongoing and funded by LlPA for a number of years, develops accurate forecasting methods and software for long-term and short term electric load forecasting. The projects uses historical and forecasted weather data. LlPA currently uses the long-term forecasting software in their annual planning operations and evaluates the utilization of the short-term load forecasting software. (LlPA)
