Call For Posters


Advanced Energy 2014, New York State’s largest advanced energy event, attracts attendees from across the United States and countries around the world. This is where researchers, academics, innovators, business leaders, and policy makers come to learn about advances and breakthrough being developed in every sector of energy research. This is where you want your work to be seen and appreciated.

An exciting line-up of invited speakers will be in attendance. Poster abstracts will be accepted from both Undergraduate and Graduate students, Poster contributions are solicited to review recent developments, driven by both fundamental research and technology, in areas of:

  • Energy Policy
  • Energy Storage Applications
  • Clean Energy Workforce Training & Certification
  • BioMass, BioEnergy, BioFuels and
    Low Carbon Energy
  • Smart Grid Technology
  • Building Efficiency
  • Energy CyberSecurity
  • Advanced Transportation, EVs, Infrastructure
  • Manufacturing Energy Efficiency
  • Advanced Lighting Technologies
    and Applications
  • Offshore Wind
  • Microgrids
  • Grid Integration of Renewables
  • SMART Tools for Solar Modeling, Financial Analysis and Development
  • Infrastructure Hardening, Climate Adaptation,
    & Hurricane Preparation
  • Hydrogen Production and Utilization
  • Polymers for Energy
  • Smart Transmission and Distribution

The process for abstract submission is now EXTENDED until April 18.

The abstract will be the basis for poster selection, and we advise authors to focus on describing the salient aspects concisely.

Individuals will be notified of acceptance by April 21, 2014 via email. Further instructions (poster specifications, prize amounts, etc.) will be provided after abstract is reviewed/approved. Limit of 100 posters to be accepted.
