Rehfeldt's Presentation

Dr. Kenneth Rehfeldt is the Group Leader of the Geophysics Group in the Earth and Environmental Sciences Division and the Science Project Leader for Geothermal Energy in the Applied Energy Program Office at Los Alamos National Laboratory. He earned degrees in Geosciences, Hydrology and Civil Engineering, the latter a Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Dr. Rehfeldt has led projects to assess ground water quality in the American Bottoms along the Mississippi River in Illinois, and to quantify the migration of radionuclides from underground nuclear tests at the Nevada Test Site. He currently leads more than 50 geoscientists and engineers in support of LANL missions related to underground nuclear detonation detection, weapons effects, geomechanics, seismology, and acoustics.
